Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Weapons Technician to add to their talented, hardworking team in RAF Coningsby, Lincoln on an initial 6 months contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same. This role will be offering £29.34 UMB per hour inside IR35 £22.57 per hour PAYE

The Role

Within the role of you'll be responsible for:

Undertake and complete tasked maintenance & diagnostic activities on an aircraft or weapons systems/components which may include as appropriate:

* Aircraft Ground Handling,
* Flight servicing's
* Aircraft role changes
* Embodiments
* Component removals
* Inspections
* Repairs
* Tests

You

To succeed within the role of you'll have experience in a similar position, and you'll ideally have the following skills:

Typically 3+ year's experience including type, classed as fully competent with all required 'Authorities' in place.
Demonstrating breadth of systems experience, currency & recency via a Log Book (electronic or paper) capturing skills, knowledge and authorities for working on Aircraft or in workshops.
A comprehensive knowledge of the acceptable means of compliance documentation set.
