An innovative Medical Device business with a market leading product is looking for a Systems Engineer to work on a product that really makes a difference to people's lives. This permanent role is available on a hybrid working basis with a split working week between their offices in Warwick (2 to 3 days / week on average) and your home. The Role As a Systems Engineer, you'll contribute to systems development of the company's products ensuring full compliance with medical device regulations and standards. You'll, also, be involved with the feasibility, definition, integration and verification of elements of their products. Some of your key responsibilites will include design, development, problem resolution and systems test. You… To succeed in the role of Systems Engineer you'll need to have experience of a similar full lifecycle systems engineering role and a good understanding of systems methodologies. This experience will need to have been gained working on safety critical products. If you've worked on mechatronics systems before that would certainly hold you in good stead. The Package In return you'll receive a salary of up to £45,000 + 25 days' (plus BH) + 6% employer pension + bonus. A company that designs and develops medical devices is seeking to recruit a System Test Engineer to work on a contract based in Warwickshire that is initially scheduled for 12 months with hybrid working available. The Role This contract will involve system level test from requirements including test case development. This will include defining test cases for a complex embedded device across fluid, pneumatic, mechatronic and software systems. Delivering system test deliverables for projects you will also lead the development of rigs, fixtures, procedures, methods, data capture and statistical techniques. Plus provide key input to the design to ensure testability of the product, subsystems and components. Key Deliverables Test Design and Implementation Test Case Development Development of rigs, fixtures, procedures, methods, data capture and statistical techniques. Design, evaluate and formally document manual and automated test fixtures and rigs. Construct test cases, specifications, protocols and methods for prototype,integration, verification, validation and reliability test. Development of data capture, data analysis and statistical techniques and tools to enhance test capabilities and efficiency. Participate in design review activities to ensure requirements and designs are testable.
