Job Title: Project Planner Location: Edinburgh - hybrid working Salary: £45,000 - £65,000p/a A global professional services company is looking for a Project Planner to work in their office in Edinburgh as part of their team to work on several projects. This is a hybrid working role and is a great opportunity to work for a global organisation. The Role As a Project Planner, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, critical path analysis as well as preparing cost estimates and monitoring project budgets. In addition, you'll be identifying potential risks, assessing their impact and generating regular progress reports for project stakeholders. The Person To be successful in this role, you'll need to have experience of a similar role within an engineering organisation using P6. In addition, this role will require good stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage new challenges. Experience within the Defence sector would be looked upon favourably. Senior Planning Engineer

£55000 - £71000 per annum

Senior Planning Engineer Location: Warrington - 3 days per week onsite Salary: £55,000 - £71,000p/a Clearance: BPSS (British or Dual Nationals considered) We are looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to join a team of around 40 engineers and project professionals in Warrington. This role provides full lifecycle planning support with responsibility for schedule management across complex projects in a regulated industry. You will develop and maintain integrated project schedules, ensuring alignment with financial and material demand systems, and work closely with project and engineering teams to provide accurate forecasting and delivery assurance. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain project structures (WBS/OBS/RBS/CBS) Establish, baseline, and maintain integrated project schedules (Levels 1-3) Ensure alignment between scheduling tools and financial/material demand systems, including Level 4/5 schedules Lead schedule updates, reporting key metrics such as critical path and total float, with impact analysis Produce resource and cost-loaded schedules to inform the Integrated Business Plan (IBP) and project financial status Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and wider teams to ensure schedule accuracy About You: Proven experience in a Planning or Senior Planning role within a regulated industry (nuclear, defence, utilities, infrastructure, etc.) Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6 Demonstrated full lifecycle planning experience, including schedule development, baseline management, and reporting Strong analytical skills, with the ability to clearly present complex schedule data Collaborative and motivated, with the ability to mentor less experienced planners What We Offer: Salary range of £55,000 - £71,000 Hybrid working with three days per week onsite in Warrington Opportunity to work on challenging, high-profile projects in a regulated sector
