A company that designs and develops medical devices is seeking to recruit a Test Engineer to work on a contract based in Warwickshire that is initially scheduled for 12 months with hybrid working available.
The Role
This contract will involve testing related to all parts of the product development lifecycle working to support the Test Architect.
A mixture of hands-on work alongside Laboratory Technician and System Engineers as well as documentation drafting, maintenance, training and execution of test designs and test protocols against agreed technical requirements within the QMS.
Delivering system test deliverables for projects you will also lead the development of rigs, fixtures, procedures, methods, data capture and statistical techniques. Plus provide key input to the design to ensure testability of the product, subsystems and components.
Key Responsibilities
Projects
* Delivering system test deliverables to projects, on time and to a high standard.
* Working within the Design and Development, Change Management and Project processes.
* Coordinate with external test facilities
Test Execution and Reporting
* To participate in testing activities, including the generation of test execution reports.
* Execute and report tests in line with project and test schedules.
* Maintain and train others on test methods and protocols.
* To maintain existing test tracing to requirements, design and risk items.
Experience
Ideal candidates will be experienced Test Engineers with experience of working in a medical device / high integrity / safety critical / regulated product type environment.
You will also need to have 360 degree test cycle experience including development of rigs.
