A growing technology business, based in Leicestershire (hybrid working - 2 days in the office per week), is looking for a Software Development Manager to join their growing team and be responsible for your assigned software development and test teams. You'll take full control of all aspects of software development for your teams and there'll also be a strong focus on project and stakeholder management.
The Role
As one of their Software Development Managers, your key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) line management of a significant sized team, ensuring an excellent track record of on time delivery across the software development life cycle, weekly development schedule reporting, acting as scrum master in the agile development process and ensuring proper utilisation of resources.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have experience of a leadership role (within software development) and have been a hands on Software Developer / Engineer during your career - experience of either C++ or C# is strongly preferred as these are the primary software languages within the business. Any experience of Agile working, acting as a Scrum Master and the cyber security industry would certainly hold you in good stead.
