A prominent player in the food manufacturing sector is looking for a skilled Software Controls Engineer to join their team. This company specialises in innovative turnkey systems that produce a variety of food products, for well established clients world wide.

Role Overview:

In this position, you will report to the Controls and Automation Manager and will be instrumental in supporting multiple departments to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Train staff on PLC/HMI/SCADA systems and assist with customer demonstrations.
- Conduct pre-order research and participate in control design meetings.
- Write control specification documents and maintain project documentation.
- Interpret electrical schematics and integrate hardware with HMIs.
- Design and develop software for control systems using various platforms.
- Optimize existing software and assist with recipe management and reporting.
- Modify and commission systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide customer training and support.
- Collaborate with team members on projects and assist with breakdowns as needed.

Qualifications:
