I'm looking for multiple Systems Engineers to join BAE Systems at their Filton site in South Gloucestershire.
This is an amazing opportunity to work on some of the most advanced engineering projects in the world when it comes to fighter jet design and build.
What you'll be doing:
- Use your sound engineering knowledge and experience to propose and develop solutions to problems throughout the product development cycle
- Play a key role in bringing components and systems together to form a System of Systems
- Manage aspects of engineering, delivering them to high standards through ensuring good engineering governance
- Understand and manage the maturity of our engineering solutions as they develop and you take corrective action to ensure our products are the best they can be
- You can specialise in areas such as System Architecting, System Design, Configuration Control, Requirements Management or Qualification
- Lead the integration of engineering across all aspects of Air platforms & products, covering all stages in the engineering life-cycle - from concept to delivery
Your skills and experiences:
- Degree educated in a STEM discipline or HND/HNC with sound experience of the Engineering Life-cycle
- Demonstrable experience in an engineering integration environment (applicants encouraged from Aerospace, Automotive, Rail and Nuclear industries)
- Experience of Model Based Engineering approaches and the supporting methods and toolsets (Teamcenter PLM, DOORs, CAMEO, MATLAB, ANSYS)
- Evidence based experience of management responsibilities, managing teams and senior stakeholders
- Use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Good communicator at all levels
- Can work effectively in teams but is also able to be self-starting and pro-active
The salary range is £50,000 to £65,000 plus an excellent benefits package and is a hybrid-working role.
You MUST be eligible for SC Clearance to be considered for these positions.
