Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Design Engineer to add to their talented, hardworking team in Samlesbury on an initial 12 month contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same. This role will be offering £37.53 per hour inside IR35 / Umbrella

The Role
Senior Design Engineer you will be able to develop current and next generation aircraft products and technologies, numerous opportunities exist for those interested in the challenges across several lifecycle phases
* Airframe Design capabilities comprise one or more of the following design technical skills areas:
Concept & Configuration Design, Structural Design - Composites, Structural Design - Metallics,
Mechanical Systems Design, Fluid Systems Design, Electrical Circuits Design, Electrical Installation Design, Build & In-Service Design Support, Computer Aided Design, Components Engineering.
* Analysing information and applying sound engineering judgement to solve problems.
You
Experience in an Airframe Design role.
We are looking for candidates who typically hold a relevant engineering qualification to HNC/HND level or above.
Experience of operating in an airframe design role preferably in one or more phases of an airframe product lifecycle desirable.
To demonstrate a level of proficiency in CATIA V5 / Capital Logic or equivalent toolsets (dependent on role), and experience in a PLM system.
To demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to a variety of stakeholders.
