The Background:
The Senior Global Mobility / Tax Consultant will be responsible for coordinating the expatriate process across the EMEA region whilst ensuring compliance and efficiency throughout.
The Role:
You will be responsible for:
- Coordinating the full assignment process for all internal expatriates across the EMEA region;
- Ensuring compliance with international tax, social security and immigration for all assignments;
- Counselling and supporting assignees and their families, assisting with any questions or queries;
- Preparing any assignment related documents, such as cost projections, tax calculations and contracts;
- Arranging international work permits with the assistance of third party providers;
- Supporting the HR team in host countries with any assignment related processes, such as payroll and compensation;
- Liaising with third party suppliers with regards to household goods shipment and relocation;
- Assisting the Manager with the development and implementation of any related global mobility or tax policies and processes.
The Person:
The successful candidate will have:
- A strong background in operational global mobility issues
- A good understanding of international taxation, social security regulations and immigration laws;
- Candidates with experience of working in both in-house global mobility and tax consulting environments would be highly desirable however, either background will be considered.
