I have an amazing opportunity for 5x Principal Systems Engineers to join a leading multinational Aerospace & Defence company at their offices in New Malden, London.
These are hybrid-working roles and you MUST be eligible for security clearance (SC) to be considered.
As a Principal Systems Engineer, you will contribute the ongoing development and growth of Systems Engineering programmes. You will have the chance to work on prestigious maritime programmes that significantly contribute to the future of UK Defence. Reporting to a Systems Engineering Lead and contributing as a key member of the Systems Engineering Team, you will provide key skills and competencies in order to successfully deliver our complex products. You will be looked upon to provide expertise and coaching to the existing team whilst representing Systems Engineering to Stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Systems Engineering process on programmes
- Successfully deliver key milestone design reviews
- Customer relationship development
- Lead integration of other engineering disciplines
- Technical management of suppliers
Required Skills/Experience:
- Proven experience, with Extensive Systems Engineering models and techniques knowledge
- Degree qualified in relevant engineering subject
- Exceptional people and communication skills
- External customer/supplier relationship management experience
- Aptitude for people leadership and team management
