Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Principal Safety Engineer to add to their talented, hardworking team in Barrow on an initial 12 month contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same. This role will be offering £62.56 per hour travel per hour inside IR35 / Umbrella

The Role:
Participate in Contract Launch Process , driven by Projects and only held depending on value
Achieve the timely release of Production / Repair Orders
Use the MES to view Production / Repair Orders
Review and action MRP Error Exceptions Messages and data hygiene reports
Support Production Reviews
Support the Engineering Change Process and Non-Conformance process
Create outbound delivery documentation ensuring compliance through the GTS System or for non Sales Order deliveries manual TRF.
Understand the interface with the Warehouse Management System
The skills:
* Experience of working in an explosion safety engineering environment and applying various methods of hazard analysis
* COMAH (Safety Case support) experience
* Site Asset Protection experience
* Fire Safety Engineering experience
* DSEAR risk assessment production including hazard identification and analysis (preferably from a high hazard industry)
* A thorough understanding of Hazardous Area Classification (HAC).
* Proven track record in implementing business processes to achieve strategic objectives.
* Passion for safety and open to developing new skills and undertaking further training in explosion risk management.
