Our client is a leading global defence, security, and aerospace company, and are seeking talented and driven Mission Systems Engineers to join our dynamic project teams. As a Mission Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, integration, and testing of advanced mission systems for cutting-edge defence and aerospace projects.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and develop mission system architectures that meet customer needs and specifications.
- Design, develop, and integrate mission system components, including sensors, communication systems, and data processing modules.
- Conduct system-level testing and verification to ensure mission systems meet performance and reliability standards.
- Analyse and resolve technical issues related to mission systems, working closely with project managers, engineers, and customers.
- Support the integration of mission systems into larger defence platforms, such as aircraft, submarines, or land-based systems.
- Participate in the development of new technologies and innovative solutions to enhance mission system capabilities.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mission system engineering.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of mission systems engineering principles, including system design, integration, and testing.
- Proficiency in system modelling and simulation tools, such as MATLAB, Simulink, or similar.
- Experience with requirements management and system architecture development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of defence and aerospace industry standards and regulations is a plus.
- Security clearance eligibility may be required.
