As a Mechanical and Electrical Technician you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. My client maintains the airfield support contract for the aviation requirements at RAF Northolt. The successful candidate will play an important role in the timely servicing and rectification of any occurring faults and will be part of a team whose job it is to keep both military and civilian assets supplied with the right ground support equipment at the right time.
The successful candidate will enable the smooth functioning of RAF Northolt, in accordance with RAF and Company safety standards, practices and procedures
You will be responsible for:
- Looking after the ground support equipment
- Carrying out general tasks in support of the aircraft
- Carrying out the servicing and full maintenance of equipment
- Refuelling and maintenance activities in support of the aircraft
- Full management of serviceable equipment and lighting
You:
- Trained Electro / Mechanical Technician to at least City and Guild 381/382/383 qualifications in Heavy Vehicle / Plant Equipment or equivalent, or timed served
- Skilled in the use of all tools associated with mechanical maintenance
- An analytical mind, able to diagnose and rectify faults
- The ability to follow work and maintenance instructions to a high standard
