I have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Electrical Design professional to join a Multinational energy and services provider.

Your Role:

As a Senior/Lead Electrical Design Engineer, you will scope, design, and oversee the implementation of electrical HV/LV systems for renewable energy projects, including solar PV and battery energy storage systems. From concept design to handover, you'll collaborate closely with a talented team to deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of HV/LV connections for PV plants
  • Provide technical support from project initiation through commissioning
  • Conduct site surveys and installation quality checks
  • Collaborate with engineers across various teams and disciplines

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years' experience in HV/LV distribution power systems, preferably in renewable energy
  • Strong knowledge of UK grid connection standards (G99, G100)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and cable sizing software
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Additional Skills:

  • Experience with solar PV systems and battery energy storage systems
  • Knowledge of British Standards, electrical design, and control systems
  • Ability to work on-site as needed
