A leading supplier of procurement solutions to a variety of sectors including, but not limited to, the health sector (care homes, NHS etc.), education and hospitality is looking for a Category Manager to join their team based in East Manchester (hybrid working agreement). The business is proud of delivering efficiency, quality and value to their customers.
The Role
As one of their Category Managers, you'll be responsible for implementing the procurement strategies set by the Head of Procurement and other Directors withinthe organisation whilst managing the supply base and negotiating competitive pricing within your primary categories, which would be Dried and Frozen.
You'll
To succeed in the role of Category Manager, you'll need experience of a similar purchasing role with significant experience of the food industry / market. Any experience of working with companies such as Brakes and Bidfood would certainly hold you in good stead.
The Package
As their Category Manager, you'll receive a very competitive salary (please get in touch for details on this) plus good pension, 23 days holiday + BH (rising by 1 day every 2 years) and annual salary review.
