Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Airport Operations Specialist to add to their talented, hardworking team in Warton on an initial 12 month contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same. This role will be offering £61.75 per hour.

The Role

Within the role of Airport Operations Specialist you'll be responsible for:

* To co-ordinate the scheduling of Aircraft and crew.
* Coordination of handling for all aircraft visiting Warton.
* Production of aircrew rosters ensuring that the Flight Time Limitations scheme is adhered to at all times, as regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
* To process and submit all returned flight paperwork.
* Responsible for delay reporting and production of statistics.

In addition, you'll also Have experience in an aviation / flight operations background.
An awareness of CAA/EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) flight time limitations scheme.

You

To succeed within the role of Airport Operations Specialist you'll have experience in a similar position, and you'll ideally have the following skills:

* Have experience in an aviation / flight operations background.
* An awareness of CAA/EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) flight time limitations scheme.
* Able to interpret aviation weather reports/charts (METARS & TAF)
* Knowledge of Aircraft limitations.
* Previous customer services experience where they have dealt with customer enquiries by telephone or email.
* Confident in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Understand different systems used (LEON/Flight Line/ Darwin).
