Principal Electrical Power Engineer

Principal Electrical Power Engineer Initial 12 Month Contract Hybrid - 2 days per fortnight on site in either Barrow-in-Furness (Cumbria) or Filton (Bristol) £81.05 Per Hour (Umbrella Rate - Inside IR35) The Role Develop design solutions to agreed time, cost and quality in accordance with project or business milestones. Project planner Scotstoun Based (Hybrid 1-2 days per fortnight on site) £41.73 an hour Umbrella Inside IR35 6 Month Contract initially. This is a great opportunity to work within one of the UK's leading Defence organisations based In Scotstoun. Hybrid working 1-2 days per fortnight on site. Knowledge: - Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Planning/Scheduling policies, processes, procedures and systems. - Comprehensive Planning/Scheduling experience demonstrated in a professional capacity within a project. - Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of their projects. - Comprehensive understanding of one or more Planning/Scheduling tools techniques and practices. - Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the Business environment for their project. - Knowledge and experience of PM governance and assurance processes such as Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs). - Experience of influencing stakeholders typically inside the company. - Good understanding of the wider Planning/Scheduling environment, and of developments and practices in the field. - Good understanding of own project/s, its markets, customers, strategic priorities and culture. - Knowledge acquired through job related training and on the job experience with theoretical and practical skills. - Experience of building relationships and negotiating outcomes with internal stakeholders. Generation and compilation of test scripts, documents and reports. Fault diagnosis and assessment of complex systems within various SIM/STIM test rig capabilities.
